Certainly we can all have a difference of opinion and hopefully Bekker, Welshman, Mannah, Hurtado and Smith prove me wrong and have good MLS careers and help lead their teams to successful seasons in 2013 and beyond. VANCOUVER, BC – Paul Mullen, a former senior executive with England’s Football Association, has been confirmed as the new BC Soccer Executive Director. Mullen has spent the past 2 years as the BC Soccer Director of Operations which included managing BC Soccer’s partnership with Vancouver Whitecaps FC. The Executive Director position was vacated after Bjorn Osieck stepped down in September. The Board of Directors took the opportunity to merge the Director of Operations and Executive Director roles, eliminating overlapping responsibilities and providing a clear single voice and direction for BC soccer operations going forward.
