The Canadian Soccer Association (Canada Soccer) (French: Association canadienne de soccer) is the governing body for soccer in Canada.
It is a national organization that oversees the Canadian men’s and women’s national teams for international play, as well as the respective junior sides (U-20 and U-17 for men and women). Within Canada, it oversees national professional and amateur club championships.
In partnership with its members, Canada Soccer promotes the growth and development of soccer in Canada, from grassroots to high performance, and on a national scale.
There are nearly 850,000 registered Canada Soccer members in Canada within 1,500 clubs across 144 districts that operate in 12 provincial/territorial member associations.
The Canadian Soccer Association is affiliated with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) and the Canadian Olympic Association.
